Another Year another resolution.
For 2020 I plan to draw every day again. No matter if it is digitial or traditional.
But it has to be every day.
In case of traditional it may take a day or two to post it here.
Let’s see how far I get this year.

Last year I managed to get up to September.
Yes I do know I have not shown anything after march, but they are here in my sketchbooks.
I just couldn’t scan all of them in and upload them to this Website.

But late in 2015 I got a new Computer, a Surface Pro 4.
With this one I can draw directly on the Screen. No need to scan anything to upload it.
So there is no excuse for me not to show something every day.

And so another year of one Sketch a day starts. Let’s see how far I get this time around.

2 month passed and I can still post a drawing each day.
Never dreamed I could be able to pull this off.
The next month I dedicate to Travis Hanson, one of the comic artists who brought me back to drawing.

Definitely worth a visit, and I am sure you will stay a while.

So from now on I do my best to recreate some of his awesome drawings. Fully knowing that I can not compare to him, so expect the worst.

Can’t believe that I actually managed to draw one picture each day.
Many of them are ugly and could have used some more time.
But as always for these drawings I am pressed for time.
Each one took between 15 and 35 minutes. Many do not look finished, but the idea was not to create finished pieces, but draw each and every day.

Next month will be even more embarrasing, as I attempt to draw portraits.
I do hope a few of them will be remotely recognizable.
There is no chance that they will actually be good 😉
But again one drawing each and every day.

Let’s see how far in the year I can get.

This is a new years resolution WordPress site.
I thought it might be fun to draw more and so I started to make a drawing each day.
As I draw traditionally it might take a few days to scan the drawings and show them on this site.
Additionally to that, I am new to WordPress, so expect errors and delays.
